Masjid Al - Islam will participate in The Women of Faith Conferences @ Masjid Al - Quran, 2420 Cedar Crest Blvd., Dallas Texas. Saturday November 14, 2009, from 11:00 - 2:00 P. M. �Sis. Sajda Pitre will speak as a representative for Masjid Al - Islam. Topics: The Family: Values, Dynamics, Relationships, Traditions, And Challenges of Today's Youth. Food will be catered. Sisters Only!!
Masjid Al Islam has been invited to participate in Human Values Awareness Day@ Unity Church of Dallas @6525 Forest Lane, Dallas Texas. November 21, 2009, from 4:00 - 6:00 P. M. The program will consist of short talks by different spiritual leaders, an Art show, and multicultural presentation from the children. Muslim Children from Masjid Al - Islam will be on program, Insha'Allah. Mayors, of different cities are expected to be present and a cross section of different religions and faiths. Please come out and support this event. Refreshment will be served. (Bring a can food for entry!!)

Dawah / Outreach�
The Dawah group is at the Masjid every Saturday and Sunday morning feeding, clothing and providing Health Screening and other Services. Masjid Al Islam feeding program feed a total of 800 men, woman and children each month.�� The Saturday and Sunday program is steadily increasing. Volunteers are needed for this program from 9:00 A. M. - 12:00 noon. Contact Imam Khalid Shaheed if you would like to volunteer, be a sponsor or make a donation. Insha' Allah.
Men Clothes Needed!!!
Men clothes for the outreach program Clothes must be clean, washed, pressed, folded and in good condition, preferably on hangers. You can bring them any time to the Masjid or call 469. 766.2208.

What's the point of bringing gold to the gold mine, or water to the Ocean.
Everything I came up with was like taking spices to the Orient.
It's no good giving my heart and my soul because you already have these.
